Principal's Message

Built on the belief that regional young people deserve exceptional educational opportunities close to home, we have focused on creating a strong academic learning environment where every student is known, supported and challenged to achieve their best.

As a new school, our staff have established strong routines, a connected school culture and evidence-based teaching practices, while welcoming growing enrolments from families who value our high expectations and supportive environment.

Recent feedback from our Parent Opinion Survey reinforces this work, with families reporting strong levels of satisfaction across areas including student wellbeing, safety, engagement, teaching and communication. Average ratings across the survey were consistently above 4 out of 5, providing encouraging feedback on the positive culture and learning environment we are building together.

One of our greatest achievements has been building a caring and respectful community centred on responsibility, respect and commitment. Our students have embraced the opportunity to help shape the culture and traditions of the College from the very beginning, creating a strong sense of belonging and pride in our community.

2026 has also been an exciting year of growth for Corner Inlet College. We have continued to expand our infrastructure and, throughout the year, have worked towards completing Stage 1 of our development, creating improved learning spaces and facilities to support our growing student community.

As we look ahead to 2027, the next exciting chapter is already taking shape. We are looking forward to announcing our plans for Stage 2 and commencing the next phase of infrastructure development, further strengthening the facilities and opportunities available to our students. We encourage our families and wider community to stay connected as we share more details about these exciting plans in the year ahead.

Thank you to our families and the South Gippsland, Bass Coast and Wellington community for your continued support. Together, we have laid strong foundations for the future. With Stage 1 nearing completion and Stage 2 on the horizon, we are excited about what 2027 will bring and invite our community to join us as we continue to build, grow and shape the future of Corner Inlet College together.
